This notice describes information handled through privatekinship.com and its consultation inquiry form. It does not replace the agreements or disclosures used for screening, payments, or a booked engagement.

Information you provide

The consultation form collects your name, email address, and message. Your message may include your location, interests, preferences, or the experience you would like to discuss. We also receive information you choose to provide when you email us or communicate about a consultation.

Please provide only information needed for your inquiry. Do not send medical records, Social Security numbers, payment-card details, background-check documents, or other highly sensitive information through the website form or ordinary email.

How we use inquiry information

We use this information to respond to your request, discuss suitability and availability, arrange a consultation, prepare a quote, and communicate about any resulting engagement. Submitting an inquiry does not book an engagement.

We do not add consultation inquiries to promotional email lists. If our marketing practices change, we will update this notice and obtain any required consent.

Website, email, and spam-protection providers

Our website is hosted by Squarespace. Form submissions are processed and stored through Squarespace, and email notifications are sent to our Gmail account. Google provides our Gmail service. Our form also uses Google reCAPTCHA to help detect and prevent automated spam; Google may process technical information for that purpose.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law or reasonably necessary to address fraud, a safety issue, or a legal claim.

The site uses necessary cookies and similar technologies to operate. Squarespace analytics and performance cookies also help measure visits, traffic sources, and site use. At the time of this notice, the site does not display a cookie-consent banner and these analytics cookies are not restricted through Squarespace’s cookie settings.

This notice covers information you provide directly to Private Kinship. It does not control Meta’s independent handling of information on its platforms.

Retention and requests

For inquiries that do not result in an engagement, we delete the inquiry from our Squarespace submissions and Gmail records six months after the last contact, unless a specific legal, safety, or dispute-related reason requires retention.

Records of booked engagements may need to be kept longer for service administration, accounting, or legal purposes. Service providers may retain backup or technical records under their own policies.

You may email jonathankimmes@gmail.com to request access, correction, or deletion of information you provided. We may need to verify your identity and may retain records required for legal obligations or an unresolved matter.

Adults and security

The service and inquiry form are intended for adults age 18 or older. No website or email system can guarantee absolute security. Please limit what you send to what is necessary for your inquiry.

Changes

We may update this notice when our services or data practices change. The effective date at the top will identify the current version.
