Private Kinship offers planned, platonic companionship for adults in Tallahassee. An engagement might include coffee and conversation, company for a public outing, or an agreed family-role experience.
Our initial launch
During our initial launch, engagements are provided by founder Jon Kimmes. Availability and suitability are discussed during the free consultation.
1. Start with a free consultation
Tell us about the experience you would like to arrange. We discuss your preferences, location, questions, and whether the request fits the service. A consultation does not book an engagement.
2. Agree on the details
Before booking, we agree on the participant, activity or role, location, duration, fees, and boundaries. A public meeting place can be arranged; a private location may also be considered in advance. Physical contact, such as a handshake or hug, must be agreed beforehand.
Consultations are free; engagements are paid. You receive a personalized quote before deciding whether to proceed. Required screening and agreements must be completed before the first meeting.
3. Meet for the planned engagement
The engagement follows the agreed arrangements, with an opportunity to provide feedback. Paid participation in an agreed role or activity is not a promise of an ongoing personal relationship.
Service boundaries
Adults only. Nonsexual service. Participants do not drive clients, run errands, perform household tasks, or provide services specifically for elderly, disabled, or convalescent adults. Private Kinship is not affiliated with Florida State University.
